"The Great Man -His face and form blend

with that Great Unity which is selfless. Being selfless,

how can he look upon possession as possession?"

(Lao Tzu, Taoism, Chuang Tzu 11)

Sri AakassDeeps Commentary:

“AUM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI ”

At the beginning I show my respect to one God, Supreme of all Supreme. I show  my respect to all the enlightened Masters of the past. I show my respect to all the Master and Teacher of Peace, who are carrying the light of peace and dedicated their life for that. And I am showing my respect to all the heroes of the future, who will discover themselves and will become enlightened.

`Self´is a projection, whatsoever that `self´is. Self-knowledge is essential, in fact it is the most essential knowledge for man and requires a deep observation, a deep inner research, and when on e goes through that, he comes across a great truth: Thinking as a `self´is completely a projection of his own mind. He is living as if in a day-dream, and moves like he is sleep-walking. In this dream he makes himself a minister, a millionaire, a husband of a wife, a mother, father, daughter, son, but it is just an illusion, a child`s game of his mind. His ego becomes a fragmentary picture after knowing of this great truth, and that truth becomes a deep awareness, becomes a part of his existence, and that great awareness makes him a great man.

That is why a great man has no artificial face. He is utterly true and his truth unites him with the Supreme Truth. That unity makes him a citizen of the whole universe. He becomes united with the whole universe and the whole universe pours into his existence. He becomes humble and lives down-to-earth. He lives with all, without any possessions. He respects his own freedom and others` freedom too.

He is neither for nor against. He just flows like a river flowing towards the ocean. He invites nobody to drink his water, nor does he refuse anybody who wants to drink his water. He may have many cars, many businesses, many properties but he does not identify himself by those things. Neither does he renounce the world and go into the jungle.

He may possess all those things but they will not possess him. Many so-called `great people´or film-stars have become so attached to their possessions and glamor that they think this glamor is forever and that what they possess, they will possess  for eternity.

They live a real life but that real life is the life of a dream, and when reality comes in front of them and their dream breaks, they wake up from their dream and cannot face the reality. Then they become alcoholics, start taking drugs and committing suicide.

Most of these people only see the glamorous side of their life but they don`t see what happens when the glamor and possessions leave them.

So, whatsoever you have, work hard and what comes from your work, enjoy that fruit and live in reality.
